Job Details
1.Responsible for creating all import and export documentation
2.Experience in handling letter of credits and full set of documents involved in imports and exports.
3.Track containers on waters and ETAs on regular basis
4.Proof read Bill of Lading for accuracy and request for amendments if any
5.Liaise and Negotiate with Freight Forwarders and Shipping Lines
6.Ensure timely release of Documents to buyers according to payment terms
7.Submit documents to banks and negotiate fees and charges
8.Arrange Marine Insurance according to relevant terms and conditions
9.Take ownership and responsibility for the scope of this position.
Requirements
1.Accuracy, ability to read through documents such as Letters of Credit and ensure compliance. 2.Familiarity with the nature of Non-Ferrous Trading Business and ability to establish and maintain effective relationships within the company and outside. 3.Knowledge of the principles and techniques of office management including work flow, forms, supplies, sales and purchase documentation, Trans-boundary movement of goods. 4.Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work. 5.Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of practical problems, deal with a large number of variables and determine a specific course of action.
