Accounting Manager Required in Dubai
The Accounting Manager (Assistant Finance Manager) will be responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables, payroll, assistance with end-of-month close, grant reporting, audit preparation, and other related duties as assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Planning and performing financial operations: to assist in the management of all accounting procedures and systems used by the organisation; Plan, implement and supervise the company's financial strategy
- Perform financial analysis and reporting for critical decision-making purposes: to be responsible for the preparation of current financial reports and forecasts for future business growth including budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns and reports for Government regulatory agencies and financial management reports
- Develop financial plans to achieve corporate financial goals: reporting (content and format as agreed) on a monthly basis; Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; and preparing special reports.
- Budget preparation and expense management programs: assist in assessment of the long term financial trends and review prospects for future growth of income and new sales areas; assist in the review of reports, analyse projections of sales and income against actual figures and suggests methods of improving the planning process; to assist in achieving maximum profitability and growth in accordance with organisation plans
- Review existing financial procedures and recommend improvements: to assist in complying with all the financial and legal requirements, responsibilities and obligations, including statutory obligations
- Interact and co-operate with the all members of the organisation, its suppliers and clients/customers
- From time to time, you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role even where these falls outside of your own department/team.
- You are responsible for your allocated workload and must meet all targets as agreed with your Line Manager. You must contribute towards the smooth running of the organisation generally;
- Accomplishes accounting human resource objectives by assisting in recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and counselling; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; and enforcing policies and procedures.

Education, Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance as a minimum
- Minimum 8-12 years’ experience in accounting/finance in the UAE (a must)
- Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
- Experience with financial reporting requirements; computer skills, particularly with spreadsheets and SAP ERP systems (a must)
- Excellent mathematical skills; understanding of data privacy standards; integrity; honesty; customer-service skills; solid communication skills, both written and verbal: (a must) Arabic Native speaking with English language as a must (Italian language is optional); familiarity with business principles and practices; superior attention to detail; organisational skills; planning skills; problem-solving skills; analytical skills; critical thinking skills;
