Accounting Manager Required in Dubai - Dubai
We are looking to hire an Accounting Manager who will be responsible from to make sure the law firm abides with the UAE corporate tax and VAT laws and regulations. This includes preparing the law firm's balance sheet and financial statements and possibly registering the law firm with the relevant authorities. The Accounting Manager will organize and prepare the law firm's invoices and manage its expenses. The Accounting Manager will also be given tasks pertaining to the operation of the law firm. The responsibilities of the Accounting Manager will be the following:
Preparing an annual balance sheet of all the law firm's revenue and expenses and possibility preparing other documents if required by law, such as financial statements.
Taking care of the law firm's expenses payment, including handling one of the law firm's bank accounts pertaining to expenses.
If required by law, register the law firm with the relevant authority(ies) in relation to corporate tax and VAT.
Making sure the law firm abides with all UAE money laundry requirements.
Organizing all of the law firm's expenses and revenue, including preparing invoices and being responsible in paying most of the law firm's expenses from one of its bank accounts.
Supervising some of the law firm's employees, especially new ones, and helping with some HR work, including the hiring process and issuing residency visas for new employees.
The requirements of the Accounting Manager are as follows:
Complete understanding and knowledge of the UAE corporate tax and VAT laws, regulations, and requirements.
At least 4 years of experience working as an accountant in at least a medium sized company in the UAE.
Experienced in registering a company for VAT and all the filing requirements in relation to VAT.
Experienced in preparing balance sheets (and financial statements is a plus) and any other relevant accounting document for companies.
Experienced in organizing and preparing all accounting related documents, including invoices.
Complete understanding and knowledge in abiding by all of the UAE money laundry rules and regulations.
Experienced in using a company's bank account and paying a company's expenses.
Basic knowledge on relevant Human Resources (HR) topic, including the issuance of residency visa.
