Accountant/Finance/Office Admin - Dubai
I am looking for a job opportunity in the field of Accounting/Finance and Office Admin. I am currently working in a Regulated Company here in DIFC, Dubai with the following responsibilities:
• Preparation and reporting to Management of financial statements, bank reconciliation, budgets, financial forecasting and cash flow management.
• Facilitate the internal and external audit process
• Implementation and maintenance of sound internal financial controls and procedures
• Follow up on all internal reports such as travel and expense reports submitted by employees
• Preparation of the various statutory corporate reporting requirements such as the Prudential – Investment, Insurance Intermediation and Banking Module (PIB) returns and Capital Adequacy Reports for the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA)
• Regularly prepares and reports to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer on financial position, operating results, cash flows, budgets, capital adequacy and requested ad hoc reports
• Coordinates with other control and monitoring functions carried out by the compliance/anti-money laundering officer
• Management of administrative, tax and audit of Cayman Islands and BVI offshore fund structure
• Safeguards and maintain accountability of the company assets
• Undertakes all activities as the PRO for official submission/collection of application approval and timely processing of various legal documents (employee visa, licenses, insurance, share allotment and others through the DIFC portal & Government Service Office)
• In-charge of back office to regularly discuss issues, monitor and report to management concerning support and administrative activities to address efficiency.
