Accountant (Tagalog Speaking) Required in Dubai
We are looking for an Accountant (Tagalog Speaking) to join our Finance & Accounting team. You will be responsible for a variety of different tasks including but not limited to reporting, reconciliations, database and expense management.
Ensures that documentation is available to support accuracy of financial reporting
Work with appropriate personnel to ensure that financial transactions are recorded properly
Review monthly actual results compared to budget
Ensure that the policy and procedures in place are adequate to ensure proper accounting
Posting and processing journal entries on a weekly basis to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Updating financial data such as revenue in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
Performing monthly reconciliations to ensure all ledger balances on SAGE are matching bank statements closing balances
Maintaining Accounts Payable – managing the invoices inbox and reconciling PO’s/payments
Updating and reconciling regular reports
Being responsible for Expense management
Supporting Senior Accountants with month end reporting, VAT filing, audits & year end reporting
Providing Ad-hoc project support for CFO and Senior Accountants
• Nature and length of previous experience: 2-3 years
• Soft Skills and Personality traits: Proactive
• University Qualifications: Commerce, Accounting
• High level of communication skills.
• Highly discrete and able to uphold the utmost confidentiality.
• Self-confident and very proactive.
• Prepared to be hands-on to achieve results and maintain deadlines
