Accountant Required in Dubai

Responsibilities

Strong RTR domain experience - specifically month end close process
Understanding of trial balance, accruals, adjustments, reconciliations, intercompany accounting and Fixed Asset Accounting
Managing day to day operations for R2R domain
Month End closing and Reporting
Bank/Intercompany reconciliation
Posting the journal entries
Qualifications

Diploma in Finance or Accounting preferred
Minimum 4 years of working experience in finance and/or accounting
Experience working in a multinational, multi-cultural environment is an additional advantage
Experience working with remote counterparts
Knowledge and experience with local statutory requirements and statutory audits (Local GAAP, statutory financial statements, tax calculations, VAT returns) preferred
Experience with ERP systems (preferably Workday) preferred, but not a must
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint and/ or Google Spreadsheet & Slides
Good client service skills and able to communicate and write effectively in English
