Accountant Required in Dubai

Responsibilities:

Perform daily accounting & finance duties including receivables and payables processes, interest reconciliation and calculation etc;
Handle full set of books on subsidiary books including managing the audit, tax, secretarial and all banking matters
Prepare monthly/quarterly statements for all entities, as needed
Perform full spectrum of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable duties such as payments, generate sales invoices, and ensuring that invoices are properly approved and recorded in the accounting system
Liaise with any third parties as needed to maintain accurate financial records and support compliance requirements
Verify and process staff claims
Support with audit requests
Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent
At least 10-12 years of working experience in Accounting preferred
Experience of trade finance would be a great advantage but is not essential to fulfill the needs of the role
Pleasant personality with strong communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
Strong attention to details and possess good analytical skills
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and willing to take initiative
Familiarity with SAP B1 is preferable
