Accountant Required in Dubai
Purpose of the Job:
Create efficient finance support to smooth the operations and provide accurate financial information to secure compliance with company policies.
Job Accountabilities:
Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information.
Performing audits on financial data to assure its accuracy and truthfulness.
Ensuring that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards.
Aligning general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting.
Entering financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger monthly, as well as preparing reports.
Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
Reconciling accounts with the general ledger.
Gathering supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping.
Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.
Ensuring all financial & budgetary controls are in place for the division and the company.
Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
Comply and implement the local laws and client’s requirements related to QHSEMS aspects at the workplace, as per the bestowed authority and responsibility.
Carries out any additional tasks assigned (in line with qualifications and ability) by the line manager.
Qualifications & Education:
BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Knowledge & Skills:
Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and excel skills.
