Accountant Required in Dubai

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

Understanding applications of accounting standards with proper recording, posting and reconciliations.
Posting accounting entries in the system for purchase/sale of fruits, shipping lines, port charges & other expenses.
Preparation of Intercompany Reconciliation
Preparation of Bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
Responsible for month end adjustments & book closing up to the preparation & finalization of accounts.
Review of Accounts Payable, Accounts receivables, General ledger transactions, provision entries and other accounting transactions
Compile and analyze financial statements
Manage budgeting and forecasting
Multi-tasking and work independently in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
