Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant. The accountant will be responsible for managing financial data, preparing financial reports, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial legislation. They will also assist with budget preparation and forecasting, analyzing financial information, and participating in audits.

Qualifications:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support.
Assist with audits and tax filings.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
CPA certification is a plus.
Knowledge of healthcare finance and reimbursement is preferred.
