Accountant - Dubai
Responsibilities:
Monitor all Receivables entries and post data to various ledgers, registers, journals, and logs following the established group’s accounting techniques and procedures.
Upload payments on Banking platform.
Responsible for carrying out daily reporting activities, dealing with banks, and assisting the Finance/Accounting Manager in cash and liquidity management.
Forecast Daily Cash Position to ensure adequate available cash supply.
Responsible for direct bank relationship management. facilitate documentation requirements.
Ensure correct and timely completion of Group Management Treasury reporting
Analyzes bank fees as related to cash and investments and make necessary recommendations to control costs
Ensure conformity of the company’s bank account, reconciling bank statements against the GL, and clearing accounts assigned.
Check and verify cash transactions and investigate and propose a possible resolution for any discrepancies.
Liaise with other teams of the Finance Department (Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Retail Back-Office)
Ensure postings of all inter-company and incoming/outgoing payments.
Requirements:
Minimum of 4-years of experience, preferably with some commercial experience.
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in multiple software packages and flexibility to learn new packages. Department applications include SAP, Excel and Word.
Good interpersonal skills with ability to work well independently as well as with all levels of the organization
Self-motivated, team oriented, resourceful and able to manage multiple priorities.
Communication skills in English, (Arabic an advantage)– Verbal & Written
