Chief Accountant Required in Dubai
Duties and accountabilities will extend but not be limited to the following
Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounts operations;
Monitor and manage record all financial transactions according to company policies and regulations, IFRS;
Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts;
Audit financial transactions and documents;
Cash flow management and the management of current liabilities;
Implement requirements of the Government Regulatory Authority, FTA, and Auditors;
Review tax returns (VAT) to ensure the accuracy of tax returns;
Assist internal and external auditors during the auditors’ period.
Requirements
Work experience as an Accountant (preferably in an Audit company, but not mandatory)
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the IFRS
Familiarity with FTA’s VAT provisions and compliance.
Hands-on experience with accounting software (Zoho Book but not mandatory)
Excellent MS Excel capabilities
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
BSc in Accounting, Finance or a relevant degree
English and Russian language speaker
Accounting & Finance Certifications (CPA, CIMA, ACCA) is a plus
