Accountant Required in Dubai

Responsibilities:

Creating supplier account and ensuring proper KYC related document verified and documented.
Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
Recording and accounting of vendors/supplier invoices on a timely basis.
Verifying the accuracy of supplier/vendor invoices and supplier/vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
Responding to all supplier/vendor enquiries in a timely manner.
Charging expenses to accounts and cost center's by analyzing invoice/expense reports.
Ensuring bills and invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Resolving all payable related issues with internal and external stakeholders.
Communicating and updating payment details to respective vendors/suppliers after the payment has been processed.
Ensuring proper allocation of payment against vendors/suppliers balances.
Sharing weekly/monthly payment plan with Finance Manager for cashflow projections.
Petty cash management and recording on a timely basis.
Accurately allocating petty cash/employee expense to respective accounts.

Month-end/Year end responsibilities:

Requesting and reconciling SOAs from all the vendors/suppliers.
Ensuring accounting of invoices and providing accruals as necessary.
Resolving issues with open POs.
Supporting in the month end process and in monthly/yearly management reporting.
Supporting yearly Audit.

Requirement:

Must have a minimum of 2 years UAE experience
ACCA or bachelor’s degree in accounting
Experience in payable or receivables
Added advantage if they have experience with – Xero and dear
