Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of tobacco products across Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Producing and representing some of the industry’s favourite brands they are a distributor of choice internationally. Due to relocation of their office to the UAE we seek a Junior Accountant to join a growing finance team.
The role will report to the Finance Manager and work in direct support across the following areas: Recording bank transactions, receipts, FOREX entries, direct remittances, POs, invoices, stock transfers. Preparing bank reconciliations, vendor and customer reconciliations, monthly closing procedures, financial statements, and various management reports. To be considered for this position it is essential you are native Arabic speaker and have previous finance experience within an organisation selling a large product portfolio (ideally FMCG), previous experience working within trading/import/export will be extremely beneficial, you must hold a finance or accounting qualification. It is also essential you have worked with some form of Finance ERP software. If you have the required background, please ensure your CV is attached to your application.
